XDrive Logistics Ltd (Company No. 13171804), registered office 101 Cornelian Street, Blackburn, BB1 9QL, United Kingdom, is the controller for personal data processed for the XDrive website, accounts, membership, marketplace and operational platform unless another party is expressly identified as controller for a particular processing activity.

Depending on the activity, we rely on performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as platform security, fraud prevention and service improvement, and consent where consent is legally required, including certain direct marketing or non-essential storage/access technologies.

We may share relevant data with customers, brokers, carriers, drivers and authorised company users where necessary to operate a job; service providers supporting hosting, authentication, communications, payments, support and security; professional advisers; insurers where relevant; and competent authorities including HM Revenue & Customs, law enforcement, courts or regulators where disclosure is required or legally justified. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.

Where XDrive is required to comply with UK platform-operator reporting rules, we may collect and verify prescribed seller information and report required details to HM Revenue & Customs. We may also provide affected sellers with information that the law requires us to give them. Only information required for the applicable reporting obligation should be collected and retained for that purpose.

Some technology providers may process data outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer occurs, XDrive will use an applicable UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement/addendum or another lawful safeguard, together with appropriate risk assessment where required.

Retention depends on the record. Active account and operational data is retained while needed to provide the service. Financial, tax and contractual records may be retained for periods required by law or reasonably needed to establish or defend legal claims. Security logs and unsuccessful application data should be kept only for proportionate periods. We review retention and delete or anonymise data when it is no longer required, subject to legal holds and statutory duties.

Subject to the conditions and exemptions in UK data-protection law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections, access controls, authentication, least-privilege controls and audit/security monitoring. No online system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

XDrive is designed for business and professional transport use and is not intended for children. Do not create an account for a child or submit a child's personal data unless it is genuinely necessary for a lawful transport purpose and you have the legal authority to do so.

We review this notice as the platform and law change. Material new uses of personal data will be brought to affected users' attention before they begin where required.
